Julias McVea Illustrator
Currently Julias lives and works in Omaha, NE. Originally from Omaha, Julias holds a
duel BFA in Visual Communication and Studio Art from Loyola University of Chicago.
Currently he is working on an MFA in Graphic Design and a Teaching Certificate at MICA.
Julias’ passion for illustration streams from the physicality of being an artist and
exploration in digital making as a graphic designer. Julias focuses on continuing his
career and exploration in illustration because it harmonizes both of these identities.
In addition to freelance illustration work, Julias regularly engages in outdoor
excursions, acrylic painting, sketchbooks, and his collection of reference
materials which are all an essential part in his daily and illustration practices.
